I grew up with two dogs and helped my parents raise them from puppies to senior dogs. While my parents traveled, I dog sat for more times than I can count, and I now own a dog of my own, Latte, who is one year old. I raised him on my own from since he was 8 weeks old, and he has completely taken over my life - in a good way. :) A little about Latte: Latte is a super friendly and completely house trained puppy. He loves licking his doggo friends and would love having your dog over, no doubt. From time to time, I continue to dogsit my parents' senior dog, who requires medication. Whether your dog is a puppy or senior dog, or any age, I'm confident I can provide the adequate care and affection your dog needs.

I was nervous to leave Tucker with strangers, but my worries quickly faded. Eugina was a super nice lady who loves dogs and she got along with Tucker so quickly. Her dog Latte and Tucker played together like they knew each other for long time! Tucker ended up staying with Eugina over nights too. If we visit D.C. again, I definitely will call Eugina to look after Tucker.

My apartment is quite small (550 sq ft), so your dog will always be in my sight, even when I am focused on my work. I also live in a pretty safe apartment where my apartment door is secured by a fob key. I will make sure your dog is leashed at all times outside of my apartment.

Please let me know if your dog has any triggers. For example, my sister's dog is sensitive to loud noises. If I know your dog's triggers, I can try my best to avoid your dog from experiencing those triggers. I would also appreciate any insight on how to treat those triggers, so I am well prepared to help your dog feel better!
A typical day
I love to play fetch with Latte until he gets tired and can't run anymore, and I will offer your dog the same! I also like to take Latte on long walks where he can sniff around as much as he would like. I learned quickly that sniffing is the best fun activity for dogs.

Availability
I WFH and love to walk, so I can guarantee walks every 3 hours, depending on your dogs' potty/walk schedule. I normally take Latte out at least every 4 hours.
