Pet care experience
Hi! I’m Ethne. Located in Brighton in a lovely flat with two housemates who adore all kinds of dogs and have their own back home. I’ve been around dogs my entire life and had 2 of my own! Ever since I got my own dog at the age of 10, my love of them skyrocketed more than I ever knew it could. I’m currently at university without him which has been harder than expected, so I saw this great opportunity! I have 10+ years of experience with animals and live in a dog-friendly flat. I also volunteered at a cattery for a few years which allowed me to excel in pet care. We have the beach right on our doorstep as well as a fenced garden out the back. It's a very quiet and peaceful environment. I can walk your dog wherever suits the dog best! I love going to the beach, or dog parks near such as Queen’s park. There are also beautiful scenic walks located just down by Saltdean/Peacehaven that plenty of dogs I’ve taken there have adored. Being just inside Kemptown means I have loads of lovely walks dotted around near me!

Ethne helped me out by looking after Albie at short notice. She gave lots of lovely updates and Albie had a lovely time and was even looking out the window waiting for her to return after she had dropped him out. Thanks Ethne.

Please let me know if the dog has any special needs or medical issues I can account for. I would also like to be aware of the dogs behaviour around other dogs/humans/bikes… Can your dog be let off the lead? Do they have good recall skills? Please let me know so I can ensure the safety of your pooch If you could also tell me specific things the dog likes such as belly rubs or being picked up that would be great!
A typical day
I love to excersise with dogs! I’ve been walking dogs since I first got one at 10 years old. The beach is located at the end of my road and there are other dog parks near if you want your dog to have some social time and a big open area, but also more private spots I could take your dog if you need a quieter space. I have lots of dog toys at my house for when my dog comes to visit and can offer fun and stimulating activities.

Availability
I am unavailable due to University Tuesday and Friday mornings and Wednesday afternoons. I will try to be flexible around these times as my housemates can dog sit (who are well experienced with dog care as well as me) while I am at class.
