Pet care experience
I have a flexible schedule, enjoy long dog walks, and am looking to build strong client relationships. I worked previously in Portland. OR, when I was a student at Reed College, but I'm excited to begin pet sitting back home in Bloomington. I have experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages. My own Scottish Terrier passed away last year, but I'm looking forward to adopting a new dog this summer. While you're away, I can send you pics and updates on your pet. I have yet to meet a dog I didn't like, so Rover is a pretty ideal gig for me. I can do home stays or walks as needed and am prepared to work on short notice. I look forward to meeting your pet!

Ethan was awesome! He stayed at my house with my two dogs from July 2 to July 5. He sent me updates all the time hung out with them all night on the fourth so they weren't scared of the fireworks and left my house very clean. I would definitely have him sit again.

I have a soft spot for scotties, shelties, and corgis, but I love pretty much all breeds (and non-breeds) in general. I particularly enjoy taking care of high-energy dogs. I'll leave it to your discretion as to what information I should know before taking care of your pet.
A typical day
I can take your dog on walks and will accommodate based on its particular needs (for example, if your dog is athletic we may go on a run or head to the dog park, or if your dog is old we may take a leisurely stroll around the block). When house sitting, I enjoy playing with dogs; let me know if you have particular rules about dogs on furniture, dietary restrictions, etc... I tend to take a more-play, fewer-treats approach, but I appreciate that each dog is unique. Please let me know if there are particular activities that your dog enjoys or ones that we should avoid.
