Pet care experience
I have 3+ years experience in a professional setting with dogs, and over 10 years of personal experience owning, sitting, and walking dogs. Before moving to Nashville, I had worked at a pet store/boutique chain called Pet Valu. Here, I met all kinds of dogs. I also developed a deeper knowledge of pet health, diet differences, and different breed tendencies. Besides our canine customers, I also helped care for any cats awaiting adoption in our store, Shortly after this position I took a part-time job with a groomer I was friends with. Here I would bathe dogs, brush their teeth, and give them a solid brush out. Aside from working with dogs professionally, my family has always owned them. I used to dog-sit for multiple people when I was younger as well as walk their pets. I'm very comfortable around dogs and have always had an easy time connecting with them.

Ethan has always done a spectacular job with our dog Chowder! He’s very good at talking to the dog and getting him to behave during walks. Sometimes I think he listens to Ethan better than us! I completely trust Ethan to make sure Chowder gets enough time on his walks and has a good time. Ethan has become one of Chowder’s favorite visitors! I would highly recommend reaching out to him.
If there is anyone that I would trust with my dog, it would be Ethan. Ethan has had multiple dogs growing up and knows how important these animals can be to the people that own them. Ethan doesn’t see dogs as simply pets, he views them as a part of the family. He also worked at a pet store for a few years, due to his love for dogs, and even after he left, he continued working as an assistant for a dog groomer. With that being said, Ethan has had a lot of experience taking care of dogs and making sure they feel safe and happy. Not only does Ethan love and have experience with dogs, he’s also just a great worker. Responsible, friendly and diligent are all words that I would use to describe him. Ethan is the type of person that will take any job given to him and complete it to the best of his ability. All in all, Ethan is a great person and one of the biggest dog lovers that I know. Any dog in his care is sure to be well taken care of, and this is why I believe that he is more than capable of being an outstanding dog sitter.
Ethan and I worked at a pet store, PetValu, together for a couple years and I can promise that he is one of the most dog-friendly and dog-loving people out there! He has owned and been around dogs almost his whole life, making him very knowledgeable about how to care for them. Ethan is a very passionate and driven person and uses these qualities in everything he does. He always makes sure to put his best effort into everything he does, which will definitely come in handy when working with your pets!
Ethan is great with dogs! He is so caring and has never met a dog he doesn’t love! I have seen him interact with many different dogs. He is very friendly and patient. He genuinely enjoys spending time and would definitely treat your dog as his own!

Throughout my professional experience with dogs I have always put their safety first. This includes knowing the major signs of stress dogs display, and recognizing quick temperament changes. I also have been taught proper ways to walk certain dogs depending on how much of a puller they are!
Information Ethan P. would like to know about your pet
I firstly like to know if the dog has any medical issues that could be exacerbated during a walk. I've worked with senior dogs that would experience seizures before/during walks. Knowing medical conditions gives me an insight on how to walk your dog and allows me to be ready to help them if needed. I also like to know how your dog gets along with other dogs. It's very likely that we'd run into other pet parents walking their dogs. Because we can't exactly predict how dogs are going to react when they meet or pass by, it's useful to know your dog's social skills if we run into others!
A typical day
I like to take all dogs to either a park or hiking traIl! I like going to these open spaces because they provide dogs with an exciting new environment to explore and get all their smells in! Trails are also a really nice form of exercise that dogs really enjoy. All the hills and turns are a great way to get extra exercise and burn off some energy!

I'm free to take your dogs out for a walk throughout the week in the early evening! I Don't have any pets of my own at the moment, so my attention is all on your dog!
