Pet care experience
I’ve been surrounded my dogs my entire life. My family has always had golden retrievers but I love all breeds! I have experience dog sitting for my friends’ families throughout my childhood and I’ve also learned a lot from my sister who spent about 6 years as a vet tech. In the past year I’ve gained a lot more experience through Rover, sitting dogs of all sizes and temperaments. In addition to my personal animal care experience, I am a trained volunteer at the West LA Animal Shelter. In this role I’ve learned how to safely handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments and feel confident watching large dogs.

took amazing care of our rescue pitbull for eight days! sent us plenty of pictures and videos which quelled anxieties for sure. so grateful to find someone who is comfortable with breeds labeled as “aggressive” (spoiler alert, they are big babies)
Ethan was so sweet and caring with our chocolate lab. We usually board her at home and so this was her first time staying elsewhere and she defintiely struggled a bit. Ethan was so nice and really cared for her, taking her on lots of walks, fetch and play time. Highly recommended
Ethan was great with our dog and took such good care of her! She can be nervous with new people and he was so caring. We got lots of updates while in his care with so many cute pictures and videos.

I live in an apartment complex with gated entry. There is a fenced off dog park area that they can use for the bathroom, but I’ve found that most dogs I’ve watched prefer the grassy areas in the surrounding neighborhood I like to take them for walks around in. My apartment itself is spacious with a lot of carpeted area that makes for comfier lounging. I don’t mind pets on furniture but that’s up to the owner if they allow that. I have one equally responsible dog-loving roommate, no other animals, no kids, and a safe environment free from street noise.

Mainly if there’s any special care needed like medication, ear drops, food, etc. Also if there’s any history of behavioral issues. For example, are they good with other dogs and other people? Any history of separation anxiety? Do they typically bark a lot?
A typical day
I like to take the dogs on walks around the marina since I live really close to it! There’s Admiralty Park right behind my apartment which is nice for getting some extra running in and Chase Park is great for a change of scenery. I also like going on hikes and playing at the beach if that’s something the dog likes doing and the owner is comfortable with it!

I work from home and can attend to your dog full time! I can accommodate frequent walks/bathroom trips, exercise, and whatever else is needed to make sure your pet is as happy and comfortable as possible during their stay.
