Pet care experience
My name is Ethan and I’d like to help you take care of your pets. I am a big animal lover and would like a dog of my own, but for financial reasons, I’ll just take care of ya’lls for now. I have been pet sitting for a number of years now and am very comfortable around big or “scary” dogs that can be alot to handle. I also have a lot of patience for slower more elderly animals as well. I offer a range of services tailored to fit just about any clients needs. I’m willing to do drop in visits or take your pets for a walk, I also am happy to watch your dogs for the day if my availability allows for it. If its a good fit we can talk weekly/monthly rates too if interested in negotiating. Also happy to watch your house or board your pets while you’re on vacation, which ever works best. Ethan has been helping me to care for my boston terrier puppy for several months now and he does a great job. He treats my girl as if his own. He is reliable and even fulfills special requests, like taking her to vet for me.
I have worked as a professional dog handler, both for a parent company and on a per-client basis, for the last decade. When I go out of town and do not bring my dogs. I trust Ethan to care for them. His schedule can be very flexible with proper heads-up, he is quick to return communication, he is engaging with my animals and mindful of their quirks. As someone in the industry, I know how important it is to know your pets are under the watch of someone who will treat them as their own, as family. I value that relationship with Ethan tremendously, the level of attention he provides is priceless.

I have a fenced in backyard which I maintain regularly and dogs go crazy for. I keep a very clean and organized inside as well and make sure there no floor scrapes for dogs to get into.

I would like to know before hand if a dog is well trained and what behaviors to reinforce or vis versa, also if they are aggressive towards strangers and other dogs. Also if your dog is very sick or old and needs medications or other special attention I am happy to accommodate. Other than that I don’t really care how big or small or what color or whatever!
A typical day
I have a large fenced in backyard that the dogs just go crazy for! And of course there is plenty of room for all kinds of activities including fetch, tug of war, speed and agility trials, and the list goes on. I also have a very pleasant neighborhood located in Northside, with tons of neighborhood smells to check out. Byrd park is only a short drive or an aggressive walk away from my house as well.
