Hello! I'm a caring, energetic, self-taught dog behaviourist, First Aid dog owner! I have owned and fostered more than 20 dogs in my life, and am familiar with various breeds and personalities. We worked with Esther consistently over the past two years for house sitting. She watched our two dogs and our cat. She was great at communicating and sending photos. I know our pets loved the quality time they got with her when we were away. She always changed the cat litter which I really appreciated! And she was also really great with my dog’s medical needs. I would highly highly highly recommend her!

Esther was wonderful! She was very communicative and friendly via the chat. Milo felt at ease and had so much fun at her place. She has a son and a few dogs so Milo was spoiled with lots of playtime and love. She sent great photos too which made me feel super connected to my pup. He came back happy and clean. I will definitely book with Esther in the future and I highly recommend her!

Safety, trust & environment

• I have a fenced back yard. • I am no stranger to basic first aid, including bites, scratches, and sprains-- I have a medical emergency kit available on site. • Plenty of fresh water. • Crates to separate dogs for either naps, eating, or rotating. • When at the owner’s house, I always leave the house the way I first visited - accidents are cleaned up, pets will be left where owners instruct. I am a big believer in respecting the property and all beings living there. • If you board your dog with us, our dogs will always be kept up and separate, unless your dog gets along with pups under a year old, they are free to play together! • PLEASE be aware that if your dog boards with other dogs present and they play together, there’s the risk they may not get along all the time. Hence, I do monitor and try my best to judge the situation. Any accidents or injuries will be handled through Rover.*** • If your dog shows any signs of stress or aggression, they will be separated until they settle in. We want every dog to have a fair chance to socialise and to stay with us, but if your dog (even in the past) has expressed food/toy aggression or shows alpha tendencies, please understand that if it doesn't stop in a few days of boarding with us, other arrangements will be made. This is to ensure safety of all animals and people involved. I want everyone's experience here to be positive. ** I currently do NOT board Huskies, lab mixes unless previously boarded with me.

Information Esther S. would like to know about your pet

• Does your dog food or toy guard? • Do they like children? • Are they dominate or bossy? • How are they on leash? • Are they barkers? **These questions must be answered in order for priority boarding!** I also can provide a complimentary bath before he/she goes home if they enjoy a day at the spa!

A typical day

I love taking my own dogs to the park and the beach, and I am in no rush to leave the house if your dog requires companionship. They'll be taken out on walks around the neighborhood, or we can play with their favourite toy or watch TV! If I am not present, my husband will be home to monitor and give attention!
