Pet care experience
Big animal lover! I have been dog sitting for over a year now, and I’m in love with it. In this past year I’ve had multiple bookings for short/ medium/ long stays. I’m also experienced with dogs of all kind of breeds and ages! From puppies to senior dogs. I have handled aggressive, territorial, nervous, and shy dogs. Same thing with cats, I have handled extremely social, and extremely shy cats too. Jeison’s had at least 4 dogs at home since little, up until 11 dogs growing up. He’s handled Pit bulls, Rottweilers, golden retrievers, Dalmatians, but generally mixed breeds. He’s also handled aggressive, territorial, and dogs with past trauma. Caring for animals is something he truly enjoys.

Estela took great care of my cat during house-sitting! She was thorough, followed instructions, and spent quality time with him. Couldn’t ask for more. :)
Estela is the only one we trust with our fur babies when we are out of town! She is super attentive and always communicates throughout her time with updates and photos. We are so lucky to have found her!
We left our 5 month old puppy for the first time for a weekend, and Estela took amazing care of her. She followed all of our instructions and sent us updates, photos and videos every few hours. We can’t than k her enough!

While house sitting, I devote most of my time to keeping the dogs company throughout the stay - that’s why the rates I charge. I comfort them when they are scared or nervous. I follow the routine that the owner has for the pet in their own home, go for regular walks and play time. Feed them in the mornings before walks, make sure they take their medications if they take any, make sure they have water refilled throughout the day, etc. When dog sitting, I am a full time pet care giving. In case I need to run errands and do not want to leave the pet alone- if it’s ok with the owner- I bring the pets (dogs) with me for my daily activities! and I always keep the owner updated.

Is your dog trained? How does your dog interact with other dogs on walks? Do they need any medication? Are they easy/difficult to walk? Where do they like to sleep? Jeison likes to know first the breed and age of the dog, if the dog has any disability or trauma. In general, he likes to know if the animal is allergic to a specific kind of food, and if they are aggressive to other pets
A typical day
I personally love walking the dogs during work time. It gives me and the dogs much needed breaks from being at home all day. We both have fun together! If they don’t sleep in crates I’m more than happy to have them as company in bed, and will cuddle with them if they are nervous from storms/fireworks so as to calm them down! - My partner helps me taking care of their exercise, especially if they are high energy dogs. He loves playing tug and fetch with them, which keeps the pets entertained as well as calm after a day of good exercise. Jeison likes to adapt to the space available for the dogs and their favorite games, as well as the amount of time that the dog needs exercise. Of course the regular daily walks are included.

Availability
I work regular 9–5pm schedule from home. I usually walk the dogs in the morning before work, and take breaks throughout the day for additional walks. My partner has joined me dog sitting and I usually take turns with him if one needs to leave to make sure the animal has company throughout the stay. He can also bring the dog with him as he does daily activities
