I actually used to work at Maryland SPCA as a volunteer, I've always loved and been passionate about animals so I took it upon myself to wrap my career around them. At the time when I was working there I was in school studying veterinary technology to become a vet tech, it was a beautiful experience. I learned how to nurture sick animals back to good health, handle aggressively playful dogs, how to properly clean cages, how to properly feed new born babies, give needles/draw blood, walk dogs who's over 100 pounds, best ways to greet pets to make them feel comfortable and other "professional" essentials I didn't know prior to working there with my own experiences taking care of my own lovely pets of mine.
