Hello! My name is Eryka and I'm excited to meet your pet! **Please note: I have a full-time job during the weekdays. I work remotely and can be fairly flexible with scheduling as needed ** I have had pets in my life since before I can remember. Cats and dogs (both large and medium-sized) have been constant members of my family. After leaving home for college, I didn't have the opportunity to take along any of the family animals, but as soon as I was able to I brought one of my cats, Smokey, out to the east coast. I still haven't had the opportunity to own a dog in the city yet, but that just means I can shower other dogs (and cats) with love and attention! During my childhood and teen years, I helped my mother train puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind, and raise and train our own pets (usually German Shepherds) in obedience. Cat experience includes having family cats throughout the years, and taking full ownership of my current fur-baby, Xena, a few years ago. I believe in using positive reinforcement to encourage good behavior and fun times. I also know some animals are more nervous around strangers, and I'm willing to put in the time to make sure they are at ease in my presence. Special instructions are also 100% welcome and will be followed as closely as possible to ensure your pet has the best experience. Can't wait to meet your furry (or scaly) family member!
