I come from a family that had dogs all my life. I've done it'll all, walks, feed, play catch (with ball, stick, stuffed animal, Frisbee, etc), done vet visits, bathe, petting, etc.. My kids want a dog but, neither of them nor I are ready for that full-time responsibility. However, a few hours or days seem just right. We're good at following instructions, so if your dog needs to follow a certain schedule, you can count on that happening. Dogs love me because I pet them, they like it when I scratch under their chin, neck and of course their head. In addition if they play catch, i am happy to throw ball, bone or stick. I can walk or run with the dog, there good, safe walking areas around where we live.
