Hi there! I am a professional pet pamperer and was previously the Executive Director of Ruby Slippers Pet Care, Inc. located in East Lansing, Michigan for many years. I moved to Colorado a couple years ago, which has been a dream come true! I would love to bring my experience as a professional pet sitter to my new town! I have several years of experience with in-home pet care for dogs, cats, fish, and many other furry (or non-furry!) friends. This ranges from cuddle time in the home to taking a dog for a walk at a special park to overnight or extended care. I am available to take excellent care of your animals while you are away, whether it's during a vacation or daily when you are at work. I have always had a love for animals, growing up surrounded by pets and currently have two kitties of my own. I have my Ph.D. in Fisheries and Wildlife from Michigan State University, where I have also gained a lot of experience caring for fish and working with wildlife in their natural habitats. I am an outdoor enthusiast and have lots of energy to share with your furry friends! Additionally, I have experience with special needs pets, including senior animals and those needing oral or injection medications. I also have completed several dog training courses for puppies as well as older adults. I know it can be difficult to trust a stranger with your home and furry babies. I offer text updates for each visit and specialized visit cards that are left at each visit to give you peace of mind that your pet is getting the best care possible!
