Hey! I'm Erin I've loved dogs since I was a kid. It started when my babysitter arrived at our house with her white labrador puppy, Daisy. My sister and I watched as Daisy grew, spending countless hours playing with her in our yard, at the park and on the beach. When I was 13 I convinced my parents to adopt Theodore, our beloved miniature poodle. My sister and I would race home from school to play with Daisy and Theodore. Daisy has since passed and Theodore is now an elder. He's deaf and blind as a bat, with limited range of motion and a lot less energy, but he's always excited when I visit home so we can snuggle. Five years ago, I started dog sitting for my friends' dogs Barney and Mavis. I'd drop by for a few days to walk them, or stay for several weeks to care for them while their parents were on vacation. They know me as family now, and it's clear that their anxiety dissolves when I arrive for the weekend. I'm stoked to meet new dogs in the neighborhood and spend quality time with them.
