Pet care experience
I’ve been watching dogs, cats, and small animals for friends, family, and clients for 12 years. I’ve been volunteering at a local animal shelter for 9 years where I’ve met and cared for hundreds of cats and dogs. I have experience with administering medication, insulin injections in cats, and shy/fearful dogs & cats. It’s important to me that you are at ease and relaxed when you’re away from your pet. I request that you share as much information as possible so that I can ensure your pet is able to stick to their routine.

First and foremost, Erin loves animals and is a super responsible person! I have had her pet sit in my home while we were away. I did not fret or worry and that is kind of remarkable because I am a “helicopter mom “to my cat! I knew he was in good hands. In addition, and I feel that this is very important, she communicated with me prior, during and after her pet care! I highly recommend Erin for your team.

I’ll count on you to let me know what needs and behaviors your pet has so that I can make their time with me as positive as possible. The more information, the better! I don’t have any specific breed restrictions as each dog has their own personality, but I do request that you’re up front about any potential behavioral concerns for both the pet and my own safety.
A typical day
I like to go for walks in new places that will stimulate your dogs mind and senses! I’ll take your lead as what amount/type of exercise your dog prefers (short/long walk, fetch, etc). During bad weather I like to use food puzzles or do other training if permitted to help tire them out in other ways!

Availability
I currently work a full time job outside of pet care, and am available on weekends, holidays, evenings, and some weekdays as well. I can often do last minute requests, especially evenings, weekends, and holidays. House sitting includes constant care from approximately 7pm - 7am. For additional drop ins and walks throughout the day, those will be booked separately.
