Pet care experience
I've volunteered with animal shelters since I was 18. Summer 2016 I began fostering for the shelter I volunteered with in NYC. I enjoyed the experience so much that we wanted to continue the experience full time! I moved to DC in July 2016 so I could take an AmeriCorps position with a nonprofit. Currently, I work from home for a think tank. I have a lot of flexibility in my day, and generally go for walks several times during the work day in addition to walks in the morning and evening. Whether you need a home for a night or a month, I will love your pet while you're away! We offer special rates for referred and repeat clients. Just ask us about this at booking!

Erin was wonderful. I was able to schedule a meetup with my pup Josie beforehand to make sure she was comfortable before her stay. And Josie was so excited to see Erin and stay with her when we arrived. I trust my dogs instincts when she likes someone. Erin sent daily photos and I felt comfortable on my trip knowing that Josie was in good hands. Will definitely be a returning client!
Penny always loves staying with Erin and Jules! She comes back happy and sleepy - a sign of a good vacation! They are communicative and flexible! Penny has stayed with them for just a few days and also weeks at a time. Already have our next weekend booked!
Our 11 yr old yorkie was with Erin and her husband for 17 days. They took excellent care of her and sent me msgs and photos every few days. I can tell that they genuinely enjoy looking after dogs. I wouldn't hesitate to have Bella board with them again.
Erin and her husband took great care of our older (16-years) lab during a month long trip overseas. They were great at sending regular updates while we were away, and at communicating with us on things before/after. Delaney gets nervous during thunderstorms and they were great about making her feel comfortable and even let her crawl into bed once! She seemed to have a great time during her stay. We will be back!
