Pet care experience
My husband and I got our "first child" together 30 years ago. Ernie was a beautiful Black Lab who left us after 12 blessed years. She was a gorgeous independent faithful friend. We then adopted Gracie The Dog from Lambs Farm. She was with us for 11 1/2 years. She was such a sweet heart! We also rescued Louie from a family who was relocating to Tennessee. Louie unfortunately left us to soon due to cancer in April 2014. Rescuing him was one of the best decisions I made. He truly rescued us with his loving spirit and just pure heart. We are so sad we lost him but grateful for the most sweet experience we have had. We "dogsit" our neighbors dogs and love all of them It's diverse in breed from Cavalier King Charles to Schnoodle to Labrador Retrievers. We love to have our visitors:) Our current furry family members are Bodhi who is a 7 year old labradoodle who loves to play with our three amazing children ranging in age from 26 to 15. Bodhi is ALWAYS up for a walk!! We also have our sweet snuggler, Olive who is a 5 year old standard poodle. She loves her brother. They make a great pair that we love so so much!!

Erin was a tremendous help with my labradoodle puppy! She started walking him when he was about 2 months old and was very good with such a young puppy. I honestly can’t recommend Erin enough. If you’re looking for someone who you can trust with you dog, no matter the age, look no further.
I met Erin and her family once before boarding my 2 yo dog with her. All was good so I booked her for a week stay while we went out of town. I received updates and pics but in one pic Stanley had on a shock collar. I immediately texted and asked what was on his neck - she apologized and said it was a mistake by her son; it had not been used on him. I called Rover and received some support, ultimately choosing to leave Stanley in her care. I received lots of updates and pics the rest of the week. Unfortunately, however, based on my experience, I would not rebook with Erin again.
Erin took great care of our pup and we’d be happy to have her host again sometime in the future!

We do have a fenced in yard that your dogs are free to roam in. I do prefer to get the majority of the exercise from walks. Whatever you think is best for you pet, whether that is just hanging in the yard and or long walks, I'm on board to keep them on their typical schedule! I will honor all requests on how to care for your pet as "parents know their kids better than anyone else."

A typical day
I like to start our day with a big walk or exercise. Maybe your pup prefers playing ball for 20 minutes?? If so that's what we will do. If we can get out in nature and get those sniffs in all the better! I take you and your pups cue and then we can run with that:)

It's really important to get that exercise in for body and mind. I personally walk my dogs in the early morning for their "big walk". It's really a peaceful time for all of us. We feed our dogs according to their needs, taste, but mostly yo keep them healthy and satisfied. They get groomed often.
