Pet care experience
Ever since I was young, living out east in the country, I helped care for our companion animals and wildlife when needed. I grew up caring for cats, dogs, hamsters, gerbils, and guinea pigs and I have experience handling difficult dogs, and I am comfortable with cats. One of our dogs was a small terrier, that was a biter. We kept him because we loved him, and I learned to read his body language so I didn't get bit. I ended up being the only person in the family who was able to handle him! We kept getting Terriers but never had another biter. Training is everything! I wanted to be a zookeeper when I was little, having a careercaring for an amazing animal. I have a vet assistant diploma instead, and have experience working in a clinic environment. I am trained to watch out for signs of illness, help with medication, help with any issues, help with handling, and help with training. I'm also keen on taking pictures and videos of pets I'm sitting and sending to their owners, for reassurance that their pet is being well taken care of, and having a good time. I like to play outside with dogs, and also create stimulating games when inside the house...to help with energy levels. I'm also trained in relaxation massages for canines. Erin was great! I loved reading her daily logs which were detailed and full of pictures and videos.
Erin is the perfect dog sitter! She kept me updated with photos and texts everyday of how my chorkie was doing while I was away for a week. She took him on lots of walks and adventures and adhered to his eating schedule. She also left my condo crystal clean which was so nice to come back to. Thanks again, Erin!
Erin is truly amazing! My boy loves her so much. He instantly adopted her into his “pack” the moment he met her. She’s reliable and genuinely cares. I always have anxiety when my boy & I are apart but not when she’s with him. I know he’s in great hands and VERY happy! I’m beyond thankful to have her!!

I like all dog breeds, but I've got a special place in my heart for Terriers.
A typical day
I like to take dogs on walks through different areas and parks where they are able to experience new things. I think a bored dog gets into trouble, so I like to enrich their lives with outdoor and indoor activities.
