Love each animal like they're my own!
Pet care experience
I'm a recent graduate from the University of St Andrews with an honors BSc in Zoology. I grew up wanting to work with and be around animals so I made my whole life about them. I live with a flatmate who is pursuing her masters, but is just as interested in having animals around as I am. Both of us are taking full precautions and following lockdown restrictions. I grew up in a household ruled by dogs. We had three ourselves and raised and trained my grandfather's as well. My extended family has owned all different breeds and sizes, so I am comfortable around any dog. Taking care of them was a part of my daily chores so I learned at a young age how to walk, feed, and train dogs. I'm well versed in different temperaments and can adapt our activities to fit their personalities. Though I never owned a cat, I've always loved them and have pet sit for a few cat owners before. I can walk or run your animal, even take them on hikes if yours is adventurous. I'm also very loving and (unless instructed otherwise) will absolutely dote on your animal with cuddles and pets. I am missing my dog (who's back in America) terribly these days so I will show yours just as much love as I would show him.

Erin was so lovely and attentive with our boy, Odin!! We were staying in the city for a few days and needed someone to look after him for a few hrs so we can visit a few sites. We're so pleased to find Erin, and Odin had a wonderful time. Thank you so much! Highly recommend her services ?
Erin looked after our cockapoo Walter at her place for 8 nights whilst we were on holiday. Erin was flexible to meet up a couple of times beforehand so that he could get to know her a little. She took the time to learn about his behaviour, quirks and routine. When we left, he was happy to see Erin and keen to explore her flat. Walter can be a handful sometimes and having not been away from him for 18 months, I was anxious about leaving him. In Erin’s care, he came through with flying colours! Erin gave us regular updates each day with photos and responded quickly to messages. I would definitely re book with Erin next time; it’s reassuring to know how well Walter was looked after, that he was safe and had fun too.
Molly the neurotic spaniel spent 2 days with Erin. On day 1 she was crying when I left her. On day 2 she couldn’t get into Erin's home fast enough! She got lots of cuddles and lots of walks, and had a whale of a time. Erin listened to my concerns about Molly’s behaviour issues, and gave me honest feedback about her. She also posted regular photos of Molly looking happy, which was very reassuring. I’ve already booked her in for her next stay. Thanks Erin. ?
Erin had my little Dachshund for two days and send delightful pictures of him enjoying his stay with her. He has an injury and Erin was most understanding and ensured he didn't overdo things. We'll be happy to use Erin again!

Information Erin S. would like to know about your pet
I have no breed preferences. I ask that the owners inform me of their pet's temperament around people and other dogs.
A typical day
I live a short distance from Dean's Village and Stockbridge, so there are a lot of very nice areas to walk around and I can also take your pets to Inverleith Park for a full run around. For your high energy pups, I can throw a ball around or even take them on a jog.
