I have experience dog sitting puppies, older dogs, and dogs in their prime. I have also dog sat two dogs at the same time in the same home. It's really important to me to meet a dog first with its owner so we build some rapport before we're on our own. I value this time to let the dog familiarize itself with me. My ability to connect with dogs somewhat quickly sets me apart. My laid back yet playful personality is, I believe, calming to them. Dogs can sense when they are around someone they can trust and I'm grateful to be one of those kinds of people :) There is one particular family whose Australian doodle, Bailey, I've cared for many times (pictured in my photos). The first time I cared for her she was about 5 months old. Bailey is so sweet and has a lot of energy. Knowing she has a lot of energy, I learned to take her out for walks and fetch at a local park twice a day. She loves running around, chasing birds, and just being free. I make sure to bring a few treats with me and poop bags as I know she'll need to go potty at some point. We've built quite a bond over the two years her family has had her and I love her dearly!
