Hi! I’m Erin, thanks for checking out my profile! I grew up with a dog and numerous cats throughout the years so I’ve definitely had a lot of personal experience with pets. I love animals, so much so that I decided to become vegan about seven years ago. My experience with pets is that they are usually very comfortable with me! I’ve had numerous experiences where a pet is usually not friendly with strangers, and owners are surprised to see how comfortable they are with me. When watching your pet, I plan to spend quality time with them and I also make sure to send photo and video updates to make sure owners feel happy and comfortable knowing that their pet is in good hands! When I take care of your pet, I aim for it to be a positive experience for everyone and something like a pet vacation! I hope that your furry friend will feel happy and loved in my care and you can come back home with them feeling that they had fun and a great experience! Overall, I will do everything I can to help your pet feel at home whether it’s in my home or yours.

Erin took care of my dog while I was in the hospital giving birth. She was very flexible with the start and end of the stay which is invaluable in that situation. He seemed to get exercise and even had a new golden retriever friend for the first day to play with. He didnt seem stressed in the pictures we received and got home looking happy and healthy much food in there! Would recommend to others.

I live in an apartment with large sunny windows and high ceilings that cats tend to love. There’s a dog park nearby that can accommodate friendly or unfriendly dogs because there often are no other dogs. Most owners who come by will ask about dog friendliness before entering the dog park. I think it’s also important to note that in the case of boarding, I live at home with my partner. He is also extremely caring and loving with pets, and sometimes gets along with them even better than me! I am the primary caregiver at home for pets, but he often helps with walks or feeding at times if needed.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs during our time together or needs specific medical care. I am not trained in medical care outside of the normal day-to-day care for pets. I can administer oral medications but nothing injectable. Also, please let me know about your pet's energy level and temperament. I am willing to work with most energy levels, depending on my workload and schedule. However, I prefer to stay away from aggressive pets or pets with intense separation anxiety because I don't have the proper training in those areas. I do have some experience with animals who have minimal nerves and anxiety. However, I prefer to work with animals that are relatively calm. I will work with any pet that I get along with if I have the time for it. Feel free to reach out if you are questioning anything and we can chat about it!
A typical day
I’m happy to take your dog to the dog park around the corner from my apartment. I can also walk around your home or my neighborhood, depending on the location of the booking. There is a scenic trail near my home as well for longer walks.

Availability
I’m a full-time student and work on Rover both part-time and full-time, depending on how busy I am or if it's around the holidays. My schedule is fairly flexible, so I try to accommodate changes as best as possible.
