Pet care experience
I have been an animal lover for as long as I can remember, however, it was not until I took a gap year (2015) that I decided to pursue a more serious dog-waking career. I have over three years of pet care experience and have been hired by multiple families around the Bay Area (Orinda, Lafayette, Walnut Creek). At the moment, I am in Kailua, Hawaii and I will be available for hire for the next two months (June & July) while I am home for the summer. I am athletic and very active so, I am hoping to find some dog walking opportunities around the island. I have experience working with older dogs, puppies, and dogs who require special care instructions (i.e. nervous/untrusting dogs).

Erin's a passionate animal lover, with an extra special love of dogs! Until a relocation out of the country when Erin was 12 we had a dog, Jessie. Jessie was a beautiful mix of golden & shepherd ~ 75lbs of enthusiasm. Erin was wonderful with Jessie. Saying good bye to Jessie, who we'd raised from a puppy, was one of the hardest things Erin's had to do. Ever since that point Erin's been set on having a dog in her future. Owning a dog at this point isn't realistic due to constraints created by her college plans - however sharing some of her love with other people's dogs certainly is. Erin is trustworthy & reliable and I'm certain would take excellent care of any dog she's been entrusted.
Since she was a little girl, Erin has been passionate about animals - especially dogs. She treats every dog as if it were her own. I cannot imagine a more reliable and responsible dog caregiver. You can't go wrong !

I do not have any breed preferences, I love all different types of dogs. Before I walk, I would simply like to have an overview of what to expect from them. For example, I would want to know if they are protective over their home, okay with other dogs and/or people petting them while out on walks.
A typical day
If you choose to hire me as your dog-walker, you can be ensured that your pup will have a fun, tiring day. I ran cross-country throughout high-school so if your pup needs a little extra exercise to tire him out, I am fully capable of taking him on long-distance walks/jogs. Additionally, if you choose to hire me to look after your pup while you're out of town, I promise that your dog will never be short of attention! Whenever I'm with dogs, I'm constantly that one person talking to them in the "puppy" voice or the one praising them for simply being the cutie that they are! I understand how much a person's dog means to them so when your pup is in my care, I will do everything to ensure that they are happy, entertained, and cared for.
