Pet care experience
I have owned dogs and cats for more than 8 years and love all shapes and sizes! I worked at the Coulee Region Humane Society in Wisconsin for over a year and have volunteered at animal shelters all my life. I also have worked at a veterinary clinic for a year and a recent graduate from the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse so I have some medical knowledge and experience with all kinds of animals. Recently worked part-time on the Three Ring Exotic Animal Sanctuary where I cared for a wide variety of animals including dogs and cats. Currently I work full-time as a veterinary technician at UW Madison and plan to continue my animal education and experience at the university. I can brush hair, trim nails, and provide ear cleanings to both cats and dogs (if the animal is comfortable and will be safe with me while I am doing it). I am comfortable with large and small dogs of all ages and can provide as little or as much exercise as needed for them. Your pet will feel safe, be well taken care of, and of course have fun with me!

Since the day I met Erin she has had such a special love and connection with animals. She has a dog of her own who is the best trained dog I have met but also a very spoiled little baby! She has been responsible in not only her endeavors with her own dog, but watches her family as well as friends pets often. She is in her senior year at UWL in effort towards becoming a veterinarian and is so passionate about a lifetime of working with and helping animals. I would recommend Erin to anyone looking for a smart and loving dog sitter!
Without question, Erin is one of the most responsible, caring, loving dog caregivers I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She treats each and every animal as if it were her own child, and he always ensures those dogs in her charge are well-fed, watered, exercised, and lovingly cared for. When I've left my own dog in her care, I honestly feel he's being as well cared for as if I were there myself. If you hire Erin to care for your dog, you (and your dog!) will be glad you did!

I am very comfortable and confident that I will be able to care for your pet in your home and make them as comfortable as possible. I provide both mental and physical stimulation as well as a calm and loving demeanor to all animals I come in contact with.

I like to know their energy level, if they have any resource guarding issues, and if they are dog-dog and people friendly. I also like to know what favorite things each animal has! Do they like toys? Do they enjoy walks? Do they just like to be a couch potato and cuddle? These are things that I like to know about a pet to best care for them.
A typical day
Walks, runs, play time, and cuddle time will all be provided to your pet when they are in my care. If wanted I can provide some training with your pet in my care (sit, down, stay, shake, etc.)

As a full time employee I can be available early mornings before 7am or evenings after 4:30pm. I am also available most weekends for all types of care.
