Pet care experience
I have 25 years of animal experience and am currently a two dog, gecko, and snake owner. My former housesitting experience includes dogs, cats, chickens, ponies, rats, and reptiles. I was previously a kennel worker for assistance dogs and a foster puppy raiser, so I have extensive dog and puppy experience. I have a medical background as an RN and have experience administering medication to dogs. I know how it feels to leave your pets behind and am happy to work with you to make you feel at ease while you are away, including updates and pictures. I'm happy to provide as much exercise as he or she needs. I will also do other housesitting tasks, including plant watering and mail retrieval.

I have a fenced yard and two friendly older dogs (Labs) that will play with your pet, or will leave them alone if your pet is not interested. We have a dog door leading to the backyard so the dogs can access the back at their leisure. We can also crate your pet as needed, if you prefer.

I can keep your dog company with a snuggle on the couch or a walk in the park. We have a special route we take which includes a stop at the neighborhood "doggie rest stop."
