I have been around family dogs and pets since I was born and a dog owner since I was old enough to have one! I have also trusted doggies that I have owned or fostered to dog walkers and sitters so I know how important it is for you to connect with the person you depend upon for your pets. My husband and I have one small dog that is 12 years old and used to canine chaos! He grew up around 9 other doggie brothers and sisters for most of his life. As he has gotten older, he sleeps often and prefers to lounge around so typically he will not go on walks with your dog. He is friendly with other dogs but often prefers his own space, especially on the couch. I grew up around large and small dogs (Labs, Retrievers and a Shih-Tzu) and have fostered a medium size Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. The foster dog had anxiety issues and was wary of people and dogs so I know how to handle dogs with similar challenges. I am happy to walk and dog sit (drop in) for any breed and size. For boarding and day care (at my home), I can accept dogs that are small to medium of any breed. I have a sizeable partially enclosed patio space where dogs can lounge and enjoy nice weather! The yard beyond the patio is unfenced but I am happy to talk your doggie on long walks or to the dog park for playtime. I love to do a meet and greet before we setup dog walking, drop in and pet sitting services so I can get to know your dog(s)…treats they like, allergies, energy level, etc. I can’t wait to meet you and your pup!
