Pet care experience
I have been an animal lover my whole life (I even got x-rays for my hamster once)! I have experience both working and volunteering for animal rescue/welfare organizations. I have also fostered over 100 dogs and cats while they were waiting to find their forever homes. I am familiar and comfortable with all sizes and breeds of dogs. I’m good with shy cats and animals who need extra socialization or special care including time to warm up. Medicating and/or giving injections is also not a problem for me; I am comfortable and confident, and even come with some vet tech experience. Reach out if you have any questions. We were so so so happy to have Erin pet sit for our little anxiety-prone dog! We were so stressed leaving her for the first time ever but Erin gave her all the snuggles and loves. We were excited to see all the updates and pictures from her while we were gone. I know my dog was happy and we had stress free vacation knowing our dog was well taken care of.
Erin was amazing!!! My kitty is a little shy, and she took to Erin immediately as soon as she met her. I got amazing updates and pictures every visit, and felt totally comfortable leaving Opal in her care.
Erin was very kind to our cats and took great care of them and our space while we were gone. She took memorable photos for us and left detailed reports with all relevant info. She was very accommodating for our rather chaotic cats and very easy to communicate with!! I highly recommend her for any pet services you have.

I would like to know if your dog is comfortable with a stranger entering their home or if it’s best to enter with treats in hand, etc. If you have a shy cat, let me know possible places that they may hide.
A typical day
I am willing to do whatever your pet prefers. If you have a shy cat who wants to be ignored, that is fine; I will refresh food, water, and litter and give them their space. If your pet wants to snuggle and play, I’m willing to do that too!

I am not working a full time job at the moment, but I may not be able to commit to longterm/recurring visits. If you end up having a busy day, I’m available to help out! For cats, I’m available if you are on vacation, etc.
