Pet care experience
My name is Erin, I have worked at Gunnison Vet Clinic and Critter Sitters from 2012 to 2017. Working there I have cared for upwards of 50 dogs by myself, including senior dogs, and ICU patients. I have experience in delivering oral medications, vaccinations, and insulin in dogs and cats. I have fostered numerous dogs for local shelters in Gunnison as well as Aspen. I graduated CMCs vet tech program in May 2020 and have been working as a Certified Veterinary Technician since, I have both general practice and emergency experience. I have a huge passion for animals! I have a small fenced yard and live right next to a big dog friendly park. I am more than willing to come watch your animals in the comfort of they're own home as well. I have multiple references from past dog/house sitting jobs. Erin was great with our dogs and cats! We are happy to have found a good dog walker for our pups! We will book her again! She was very communicative and helpful with a few things I forgot to do before I left the house. She also charmed our cats into saying hello!

Erin was great taking care of our dog. We were in town for a wedding and needed someone to stay with our dog in our hotel room as we couldn’t leave him unattended. Erin stayed with him for parts of two days. He was very comfortable with her. Erin was great with her communication and was flexible when wedding event times changed. We were delighted to have found her.

I have two dogs of my own so your fur baby will never be left alone. If crating is preferred I can accommodate for that as well. I’m my home I allow dogs on the furniture but will adhere to any house rules you have in place while in your home. I will do my best to make you dog feel as comfortable as they can be.

I have a minimal work schedule to make sure I have time to care for and hang out with your pet! I am home most of the day so will be able to spend a lot of time with your dog.
