Experienced vet assistant/sitter

Pet care experience

Hi my name's Erin! I am an avid animal lover and owner with years of experience handling dogs, horses, cats etc. I have had both large and small dogs, including dogs with “issues”. I'm very familiar with large and small animal veterinary care and am incredibly attentitive to the health and happiness of all my animals. I have years of expierence training animals (large and small) with kindness and paitence. I had trained one of my dogs to be a therapy dog for children at the library. Wether you're just looking for one time or you need regular care for your senior pet. I'd love to help fit you and your animal's personal needs. I LOVE animals and would love to help enrich your pet(s) life! Your pet will be loved like they are family!

Our dogs are always happy (and exhausted) after spending time with Erin! We are grateful for the attention they receive when they are with her!

I will definitely be taking my dogs back to Erin. She sent me pictures, which gave me such peace of mind. And my dogs came back home exhausted. A+

My dog had a great time playing with other dogs and I appreciated the pics and updates Erin sent.

She is so caring! She is extremely flexible if I’m running late or need to pick him up early. She Always updates me with pictures and descriptions of how banjo is doing and lets me know if she notices anything out of the ordinary. She is incredible with my pets needs and took care of him after surgery and sickness. She buys him treats to chew on and overall has the kindest heart! I trust her completely.

Safety, trust & environment

Safety is my biggest priority always when working with animals. I was taught to always close the gate behind me, leave a place better than I found it, and to be honest in my process. Those sort of sentiments have carried into watching animals. I believe pets are family and they are allowed to anything (that won’t harm them) in my home! If they don’t want to sleep in my own bed I make sure they have a cozy spot of their own. I have numerous extra beds, blankets, dishes, etc I clean before and after each pet!

Information Erin L. would like to know about your pet

I will ideally want to meet you and your pet(s) beforehand. I’d like to have them smell me, learn about their basic personality, and learn the layout of your place if I am working from there. I would ideally like to know what to do in case of medical emergency, where to take them, and any special needs beforehand. Is the pet allowed to have treats? Any allergies? There’s no such thing as telling me too much about your pet(s)!

A typical day

Walk, hike, dog park (when your dog is comfortable recalling to me), playing in a creek; options are only limited by your dogs fitness and comfort levels.
