Pet care experience
I have recently returned to Charlottesville after living away for many years and I’m so excited to be “home”! I have worked steadily as a professional with a Master’s degree for the past 22 years. I currently have a regular weekday job and also work some weekends but have availability most evenings and weekends for short-term/vacation drop in or dog walking visits. I love all animals and take walks regularly for exercise. My walks would be even more fun with a 4-legged companion! I have taken care of dogs and cats for friends and family intermittently for over 20 years. I am mature, responsible, dependable, and trustworthy. In my profession, I have cared for children with disabilities and the elderly. I am very caring and gentle and will treat your pets as well as my own! I have been a cat owner for the past 32 years! I currently live with my husband and senior Persian cat, Lola. I have given oral medications, eye drops, ear drops, and subcutaneous fluids to Lola. I love pets of all ages but have a special place in my heart for Seniors and am able to be patient and provide extra care for them, as needed.

Erin was great! She immediately connected with our Australian Cattle Dog and was both consistent and reliable and was an all-around pleasure to work with. We would be glad to invite her back to care for our dog any day.
In the 14 years that I have known Erin, she has been very caring and compassionate towards both humans and animals. Although she has no children, she is an amazing "kitty Mommy". She has had several cats over the years and has treated them all as well as humans! One of the most amazing things I have observed is her natural ability to connect with animals. They seem to be drawn to her and every dog we meet together will stand by her side. I've always been a dog lover but her special touch with stranger's dogs is uncanny. Erin will be your dog's (and cat's) new favorite friend!
Erin has been an amazing pet sitter and caregiver to my dog Daphne over the years. She has been available to provide walks, feeding and watering on a daily basis while I am at work as well as overnight care for Daphne. Daphne is a 6 lb. Yorkie with a huge personality. Erin has taken great care to get to know her on a very personal level. Daphne takes medication daily for allergies and Erin has been responsible to make sure that Daphne receives her daily dose. Erin is a compassionate animal lover with a huge heart. While I have known her she has provided care to numerous pets and treats them each as if they were her own. Not only does she perform the usual tasks of walking, feeding, watering, medication administration, and litter box cleaning (she is a cat lover too!), she offers love, cuddles, and play. I often go to Erin when I need advice or have questions concerning Daphne's well being. Erin is extremely knowledgeable about pets as she has mothered many over the years and provided care to cats and dogs of neighbors and friends. Erin is that gal who shudders at the news of animal mistreatment and will stop traffic to help an animal in distress. I highly recommend Erin as a candidate for Rover.com. She is reliable, trustworthy. professional, and an excellent pet caregiver!
Erin is an extremely loving and caring person. She has loved animals since childhood. I used to tell her that she has a spiritual connection with animals as some would gravitate toward her. I am so happy she has returned to Charlottesville and my pets will be very lucky to have Erin as their caretaker while we are away. Most of all I am relieved to know she will go above and beyond to make sure that all their needs are met and are given plenty of love and affection. For instance, the last time Erin was pet sitting for me she noticed that I was low on kitty litter and went and purchased it for me to insure my kitty's litter was clean and filled. Anyone who uses Erin as their pet caretaker can rest assured that their pets will be well cared for and given lots of love.
