Hello! I grew up with 2 dogs, 1 medium sized short haired mut and a miniature purebred poodle who lived for 18 years due to my close care during her senior years. I learned how to train my dogs from a young age using humane methods such as commands, repetition, redirection, positive reinforcement, and love. I DO NOT use physical punishment or negative reinforcement such as ignoring or time out, however I do use leash training. I also have a master's of mental health counseling and enjoy applying my knowledge to animals. In the past I have successfully helped a rescue dog overcome his fear of being reabandoned in the woods. Whether your dog is big or small I have the knowledge and strength to support and love your fur baby. Most recently, I am training a large K9 named Cooper! We have achieved: sit, stay, laydown, shake paw, walk, job, run, heel, roll over, fetch, and go home. Cooper is working towards off leash obedience. Today I only own one cat but still have a heart of gold for dogs!
