As a kid I cried for weeks begging my parents to get me a dog. Finally when I was 8 we got a yellow lab puppy that I helped to care for. Her name was Shasta we had for 10 years. I helped to train her, take her for walks, threw a ball for her, fed and watered her. In college I had a roommate with a rat terriers that I helped to care for. Currently my family dog is a 13 year old chocolate lab name Belle, she has slowed down a lot and can’t take long walks anymore. When we got her she was a 3 year old rescue and we continued with some simple training such as; rollover, speak, shake with both paws and bringing her food bowl to us to feed her. I also am a stay at home mom looking for a simple way to earn some money during the day.
