Pet care experience
Hi! I've been dog-sitting for friends & family over the last 10 years, in addition to growing up with our family dogs (Collie & Golden Retrievers). Currently, my boyfriend & I work with a local rescue & foster dogs brought in from high-kill shelters. We give them a warm home, lots of love & exercise and ensure they are placed in the right fur-ever home. When we aren't fostering, we want to hang out with your doggie! I have experience with a variety of temperaments & special need dogs. I have a huge space in my heart for senior dogs especially, but any aged dog is welcome! We also have a backyard & live 3 blocks away from beautiful Bayview parks so your pup will gets lots of exercise. I'll do everything to make sure your dog is happy & comfortable and hopefully they will barely realize you're gone!

Erin is THEEE BEST doggie babysitter EVER! Our furbaby loves to go to Erin’s house and he is always so worn out when he comes home! He loves the attention and snuggles he gets with Erin and he feels right at home. Gets plenty of exercise and love! Erin is our go to for sure.
Erin was terrific. Puppy seemed relaxed and happy when I picked her up and it was clear she was the center of attention while she was in Erin's capable hands. Erin is also a clear communicator and was able to be flexible as my plans kept changing. I really appreciated her patience.
Erin & her boyfriend were wonderful sitters, who we hope to use again in the future! They kept us updated about our dog daily during our trip and sent lots of photos. They were wonderful communicators and we felt very at ease knowing that our dog was being well taken care of. Highly recommend, and our dog was so happy when we picked her up that I’m sure she would too!

If your dog is working on playing nice with other dogs, or their behavior around other people or kids, I would like to know so that I can avoid situations that may startle them. It's also great to have a brief explanation of your dog's temperament and preferences/routines.
A typical day
I personally love to go on hikes, long walks, and jogs - and there are plenty of dog-friendly trails & parks nearby that I'd be willing to take them on so they can get plenty of exercise. I live very close to a dog park, so if your dog does well playing in one, I will take them as frequently as you'd like. And of course...snuggles.
