I’m a vet student (so I can handle meds if necessary) and have had my own dog for two years now! I also had a dog growing up and she was my responsibility as soon as I could hold the leash. I dog sat in high school and loved it, and had repeat clients. Our dogs don’t have to meet, but if they do and they get along, I can take them to Heritage park, weather permitting. I’m comfortable taking dogs both on and off-leash (if they’re good listeners and I’m confident they won’t take off). My backyard is not fenced in, but it’s where I take my dog to go for a quick potty break. I believe that dogs are part of the family so they are treated as family; lots of snuggles and walks.
