- Lexi is a 5 year, 9 mo. old Yorkshire Terrier in Leesbug, VA
Lexi is an easy going cuddle bug. She is quiet, sweet, affectionate and has medium energy (a bit of fetch in the living room and a walk around the block keeps her satisfied). She's definitely not a chewer and has never been destructive (how could you be at 7 lbs?)!

Yes. In a new place once she knows the protocol for going outside (what door to go to, etc), she will usually let you know when she needs to go. I bring her outside twice in the am (first thing and after breakfast), right before bed, and a few times throughout the day (usually at her request). She knows to use a potty pad that we put out if we're going to be away for 8+ hours (which we try to avoid!)
- Gets along with children: Yes
She does get along fine with children, but since she is so small I try to keep her away from babies/toddlers when they're in that grabby phase...
- Gets along with other dogs: Yes
She absolutely loves the company of other small dogs but is intimidated by large dogs after having had a bad experience with one, especially if they approach her quickly. As long as they're not aggressive or overly playful, and once she knows she can trust them, she will coexist with them ok, although it makes me nervous to have her around large dogs, since she's so small.
- Gets along with cats: No
She has never been around a cat before, but I expect as long as the cat is nice to her, she'll reciprocate. Most cats are bigger than her, so I wouldn't think she would try chasing them or anything.
