Experienced full-time dog walker and pet sitter available for morning and later afternoon walks or visits as well as in-home sittings! I’ve been working with dogs full time for over 2 years, walking all sizes of dogs, both solo and in groups, rain or shine (or snow!) Previous work experience as a dog handler/kennel attendant at a doggie daycare and boarding kennel where we supervised an average of 50-100 dogs every day, both in large group play environments and one on one, as well as feeding and administering medication, and using dozens of types of harnesses and leashes. I also volunteered as a dog coach/walker and hand feeder at Humane Animal Rescue pre-Covid, where I had an even more challenging ‘job’ of walking sometimes completely untrained, anxious, or reactive dogs and helping them develop manners and trust in our care. I’ve had cats for 13 years resulting in loads of personal experience with cat care and insulin injections. I am open to administering other medications if needed also.
