I’ve always had dogs; ranging from a hearing dog to farm dogs to lap dogs. My first job was dog sitting and I miss it.

My own dogs have their own unique personalities. They are just like people. I always assume they are dogs first and they have their own preferences so I want to know everything- if they prefer to have their food warm or they like to walk on left side or do not like to be touched in certain areas. Anything helps!
A typical day
I have plenty of dog toys and treats to use for mental play. My backyard is great for playing catch. I live minutes away from Lums Pond if dogs need more stimulation. If they prefer downtime, I’m more than happy to pet them to sleep.

Availability
I work second shift and am off Fridays and am off all summer until Labor Day. Also, I’m off during school holidays. This works out.
