What started as a favor to help out a neighbor in need, turned into steady job caring for two precious maltipoos, which then turned into caring for a number of other family pets in my hometown in North Carolina. Prior to making dog sitting/walking a part-time trade, I've cared for my own dogs for as long as I can remember. From a young age I've had a great love for dogs and their quirky personalities, and I embrace the responsibilities that come along with caring for animals. I am open to overnight care, as well as day visits, depending on what is right for you and your pooch -I have experience with both! I also have experience handling multiple dogs and administering oral medications if your pup needs it.

Erin did a great job house sitting and watching our dog while we were away. I appreciated that she kept me informed and sent photos while we were away. We were confident Buster was in good hands!
Erin was great to work with! I had to travel to New York at the last minute and needed to board my dog for the weekend and she was able to take my request. Made my booking, met her and dropped my dog off all within a few hours. She took great care of my dog, sent me pics and kept me updated all throughout the weekend. Will definitely book her again.

Primarily, I would like to know of any behavioral concerns (barking, leash pulling, door dashing etc. )and how well your dog can play with other dogs and/or children, especially if you would like me to bring him to public parks or out on neighborhood walks. I would also like to know of any health concerns (ie: sore joints, weight management protocols, medications, etc). I am unbiased when it comes to breeds and I enjoy all pups - big or small, old or young!
A typical day
Just like children, I know that dogs benefit from routines, so I will try to keep your pooch on the routine that you've set; including trips to local dog parks, walks around your neighborhood, a backyard game of fetch etc. Once I really get to know you and your dog I would be happy to bring your dog to new places (with your permission beforehand of course). After all, I can't think of anything better than spending the afternoon or early evening hanging with a pup!
