I've been pet-sitting and dog-walking full-time for the last three years on Rover, and volunteered as throughout my teens as a shelter walker. Formerly, I've volunteered at the Pittsburgh Humane Society and Animal Friends. In the last few years, I've walked dog weekly for dozens of clients, and currently have 3 permanent daily walk clients. I've sat for elder dogs with diabetes requiring insulin shots, pups with a history of anxiety, and puppies still figuring themselves out. I am open to any dog, as long as you are honest and clear about your pets' needs and history. Dogs have always been my passion, and I want to make yours as comfortable as possible. Walks, cuddles, playtime, and fun are all encouraged :) Additionally, I’m currently available essentially full time for house-sitting. While pet care is my sole job, I do have midday walks throughout M-F. Therefore, your pet may need to be alone for a few hours at a time. I've worked around more severe separation anxiety, and have a partner who works at home who can fill in. I can work around almost anything with communication and forewarning; building the proper care and schedule around your pet is important to me. I've got a car and am renting a single-family home with a small fenced in back yard. I live with my boyfriend who is great at dog cuddles and sharing the bed with our furry friends without complaint.
