When I am guiding and leading group cycling vacations around the US, I have to be constantly "on" and extroverted while hosting the guests, so it's wonderful to balance that social time and only surround myself with furry friends for weeks at a time. I worked as a professional dog walker / sitter in Carbondale, CO (near Aspen) for 2 years and have experience with dog aggressive dogs, blind dogs, dogs in wheel chairs with special needs, administering medication, etc. I fell in love with pet sitting then, learning that each animal had it's own little personality and quirks.
