Pet care experience
I have always loved being around pets and other animals, but never been able to have more than one of my own at any given time. I'm looking for more pets to care for and love and will treat each and every one as my own. I was an Animal Science major in University and have experience working at a dog boarding facility that kept up to 85 dogs overnight on any given day as well as experience training horses, so I am comfortable around pets and animals of all sizes and personalities. I am willing to give any kind of medical care necessary for your pets from cleaning and bandaging wounds to insulin injections as long as I have instructions for how you would like it done. I do have a dog myself and she can come with me or stay home while I take care of your pets. She's a highly social 65 lb dog who can play with dogs of all sizes if you'd like your pet to have a playmate for a little while. She is also cat-friendly for multi-species homes. Due to my own dog there are some occasions where I cannot take clients where she cannot come with me, but those instances are uncommon.

This was the second time Erin house sat for me. She is very responsive to texts and questions. I was very nervouse leaving my 14 year old Maltese for a week, but she did reassure me and send picture updates of him. I would use her again!
Erin has taken good care of our babies and home multiple times now. I’m happy to have her sit while we are away from home!
Erin was very responsive to texts and came over to meet my dogs in a timely manner. From all appearances things were great. I didn't receive any pictures so could only take her word for their status. When I arrived home however (which was only two hours from when she said she left), both water bowls were bone dry. I have two old dogs so despite her attempt to claim they consumed an exorbitant amount of water due to stress, I knew that wasn't true. She further went on to stay she'd refilled their water bowl several time this day. It's completely impossible for my two dogs to consume that much water in two hours little on even a whole day. I don't know if it was a total oversight, and I try to offer people benefit of the doubt, but it was completely unacceptable. I'm just extremely thankful they're okay.

I like to know the dog's general personality towards both people and dogs as well as their favorite activities and how they behave at mealtimes. I do not have breed preferences and my own dog is a pit bull terrier.
A typical day
If you have a yard, we will play in the yard - sometimes with Piper if they get along. If there is no yard, we will go on a walk at least once a day as well as shorter potty breaks when needed. Indoors I am happy to cuddle with dogs or play small games and tug-of-war. Tell me what your dog loves and I will work it into our schedule.

Availability
I'm currently working part-time outside the home and between this and other responsibilities do not have the same amount of time that I used to. As such while I will take repeat clients, I am cutting down on the amount of time I spend dogsitting!
