I am a 51 year old woman retired from the insurance industry. I have had experience with many types of pets since I was literally born. Some of my first memories in life are of our family’s pet that had puppies. I was taught from a small child to be kind, gentle, and patient with all living creatures. I currently have 2 small Chihuahua, Cairn Terrier mix dogs (spayed and neutered) that are brother and sister from the same litter. I was going to take a third one (which was the last one left and I felt bad about living her), but someone adopted her. I adopted the two dogs that I have (named Alfie and Zuzu) after my senior dog (15 years old) passed away. He was the light of my life and was truly my son. I lost a piece of my soul the day he passed. Recently my best friend’s cat became severely ill and required medical care. My friend was too distraught to administer sub-dermal hydration injections and B12 injections. So, I did them for her. I can administer oral medications as well to cats and dogs. I have had in the past, fish, birds, turtles, hermit crabs, mice, hamsters, and gerbil’s...and probably some others I may have forgotten about. As a child I had an obedience trained German Shepherd, and a few retired canine cops. I am a very caring, loving, patient person, and detail oriented person, who loves all creatures big and small, harmless or dangerous. I respect all life even if they would do me harm as I respect nature, the environment and the circle of life. I wish no harm or suffering to any creature (I even save ants or the occasional cockroach that may get into my home, by catching them in a cup and throwing them back outside...every creature has a purpose). When I care for your pet, I will do my utmost to stick to whatever routine you want followed and give them the attention and care you would expect from yourself. I will treat them as if they were part of my fur baby family. I will also provide pictures and a summary of your pets activities. Oh, I also have 2 cats! I would also like to mention that I have over 8 years experience in childcare at several churches, specializing in infants/babies and CPR certified as well.
