Pet care experience
I’ve been the main pet care taker in my family since I was 7. This included caring for a dog, beta fish, and currently a cat for the past 14 years that involved walking, grooming, dental, meds, and vet visits. I spent my preteen years working with horses that involved learning to groom, cool down walks, bathe, and tackle them. At one point I worked for a designer who asked me to help care for her 2 dogs along side my main work. This included walking, feeding, and giving them meds. I have also pet sat friends pets when they were away, including a senior dog and senior cat.

Erin is the best, as always. When we travel we know with 100% confidence that she will be on time and that our dog and cat will be so spoiled with attention and well taken care of. She always leaves the house spotless, sends adorable pictures and is so responsive. Cannot recommend her enough!
Erin is an exceptional pet sitter. I always reach out to her first when I have to be away and my dogs are always excited to see her. On my most recent trip my flight was cancelled, resulting in an 18 hour delay. Fortunately, Erin didn't have other commitments and gladly cared for my 2 dogs until I finally returned home.
I always hire Erin to housesit when I’m away. She provides outstanding care for my two dogs. She’s excellent at sending photographs and updates throughout the day. I always feel comfortable knowing my dogs are with her.

For cats I work to keep the environment calm in their home, while still keeping them active with play and enrichment items or petting. If asked I will do grooming that includes brushing and nail trimming. For dogs, if they have a fenced in yard I would take them out there for play and to release energy, alongside going for on leash walks. For those with non fenced in yards I would take them out to a dog park or on leash walks. If asked I will also do grooming that includes brushing and teeth brushing.

Let me know if your dog has any disabilities or behaviors that I should take into account including how they may interact with other dogs or people they see when out walking or in a dog park. I should also note that I don’t accept non spayed/neutered pets as I have little to no experience with them, and don’t think it would be a good idea for the pet’s safety and comfort, to learn on the job.

I currently work part time from home as a freelance designer, so I’m very flexible. I can either stay at the owners house the whole time or drop in multiple times a day as needed.
