Pet care experience
I have a HUGE love for all dogs of every size and breed, I used to own 2 pitbulls and took very good care of them until they were 14 and 16, they were pretty spoiled and very well loved. I have also had many other dogs in the past; two of my dogs in the last had litters of puppies, so i am very familiar with how newborn puppies work as well. I take pet ownership seriously and carefully, especially in the case of elderly dogs, i am experienced in giving them timely medications. My dogs have had earmites and fleas in the past, so i am no stranger to those types of things. I am an active person and love taking walks, and will take your younger pups on nice long walks to tire out your furry friend as well! (For example: with walks/runs, fetch or dog parks, depending on how social your buddy is) *if things get a little messy on walks, I am also happy to rinse your pup off or towel-clean them so they dont get your house too dirty. I am a pretty clean person, but i understand a little extra dog hair just means more love. I live in Longmont and prefer to stay closer to home, but will be able to help out in Niwot, Gunbarrel or Boulder areas as well.

Erika did great with our dog Oscar during our Christmas trip back to CA! Oscar can be anxious with new people but he warmed up to her right away
We were so lucky to have found Erika who took such good care of our dog Choco on a last minute weekend getaway. She didn’t have any reviews, but after meeting with her we could tell that she was trustworthy and really loves animals - so we took a chance. We couldn’t be happier with how she sent us pictures and kept us informed on how our little guy was doing. We are very grateful and thankful for her help and I’m sure our dog is too! :)
It is clear that Erika LOVES dogs! Our dogs were very happy in her care and she gave them lots of love as if they were her own. She's a great pet sitter and we highly recommend!

I will care for your pets as you see fit in your home, I am experienced with giving medications orally, I am very tidy and clean and pick up after myself when in your home. I also always pick up after pets when we are out on walks! I appreciate written directions for feeding and am a quick communicator if you have any questions regarding your pets during our visit/ your trip. I take daily pictures 📸 I am active and love taking care of more active pets, but can also be very nurturing and cuddly to a more lazy pup or to an older or more timid furry friend of yours. [ I might even get them to play, too! 😀 ] I currently cannot accept boardings due to my living situation. If your dog has seperatipn anxiety, i am also highly experienced with that as well. I had a dog who knew how to open windows to try to get to me! So im sure i can handle anything they have to throw at me :) And always remember meet and greets are free!

A typical day
I love the twin lakes dog park in Gunbarrel as well as any of the parks between Longmont and Boulder. The friendlier the dog, the more possibilities! Seriously, ill go everywhere! I am also experienced with social anxiety in dogs as well, and can act accordingly by keeping them away from others and taking them on more private walks if need be.

I currently am very flexible and I am fully available whenever you need a sitter. This will not affect dog sitting in your home. [I try to keep my calendar as updated as possible so if it says I'm available don't hesitate to book it!]
