Young dog lover

Pet care experience

I’ve been passionate about dogs since an early age, I’ve had pets throughout all my life and they all have been dogs, small, medium and large. I am a full caring person who loves every kind of pet but my favourites are dogs. I am able to take them for a walk, take care of them, feed them, bath them, brush their hair, do activities with them, treat them. I can also take care more than one dog at a time. A routine should be given to follow, the dogs food and of they have any health problems. If the dog has any type of health or physical problem it should be told. I can take care of any type of dog as long as it is not aggressive and has been vaccinated with all the vaccinations needed.

Safety, trust & environment

In general, caring for pets in a home would involve providing them with food, water, shelter, and a safe and comfortable living environment. For dogs, this would also involve taking them for walks and providing exercise. Depending on the specific service being offered, such as dog walking or pet sitting, there may be additional responsibilities such as administering medication, cleaning up after the pet, and providing companionship and attention. It's important to follow any instructions or guidelines provided by the pet owner and to have a good understanding of the pet's needs and behavior.

Information Erika P. would like to know about your pet

It's important to have a good understanding of their individual needs and preferences. Here are some things that the pet owner should tell me about the dog: 1. Feeding and dietary needs: This includes information about the dog's regular feeding schedule, the type of food they eat, any dietary restrictions, and how much they should be fed. 2. Exercise needs: This includes information about how often the dog needs to be walked, the duration of walks, and any specific exercise requirements such as playing fetch or going for a run. 3. Medical history: This includes information about any medical conditions the dog has, any medications they are taking, and any allergies they may have. 4. Behavioral issues: This includes information about any behavioral issues the dog may have, such as separation anxiety, aggression, or fearfulness. This can help you to anticipate and manage any potential problems. 5. Training: This includes information about any training the dog has received, such as obedience training or house training. It can also include information about any specific commands or cues that the dog responds to. 6. Emergency contacts

A typical day

Some fun activities that I do with dogs if while watching them might include going on walks to local parks or trails, playing fetch or other games in a fenced-in yard or dog park, practicing obedience training, or simply spending time cuddling and giving belly rubs. As for special places to go on walks, this may depend on the location and the preferences of the dogs I am watching. Some dogs may enjoy exploring new areas, while others may prefer familiar routes with familiar smells. It's important to always keep the safety and well-being of the dogs in mind when choosing a location for walks or other activities.
