Riki Moon: Animal whisperer & lover

Pet care experience

I have been caring for animals since I was a young child. I started caring for my first cat at the age of 3! I was fortunate to grow up on a farm in Georgia with a variety of animals to care for including cats, dogs, chickens, cockatiels, goats, cows, and horses. I have owned my dog and cat for 13 years. They are both certified service animals, are highly trained, and integrate well with other animals. In addition to having a strong background in pets care, I also have a background in pets nutrition and make both of my pets food at home. They are in great health for their ages and are happy in their home. I am looking forward to meeting your special fur baby and taking care of them like my own. They will be treated like family in my care! I love to give my pets love and cuddles! I have a unique relationship with each of my pets and truly enjoy the relationship I have with each of them. We express and show love to our fur babies throughout the day and cater to each of their individual needs. Due to the unique nature of each animal, much like that of humans, I prefer to do a Meet and Greet prior to any type of appointment. I want to guarantee that I will be able to provide the best care for your loved one, and that your loved one will love and respect me as much as you. I feel this guarantee can be achieved ahead of time with myself, pet owner, and pet present. I am looking forward to meeting you and your loved pet(s) soon! Update: We now have chickens! Currently 2 are adults and 4 are adolescents, soon to be full grown. Please advise if your pet has an affinity for fowl play! We have a separate area however I have regular clients who have free range with no problems. I want what's best for all pets at hand. ☺️

You can tell Ericka really pays attention to each individual dog's personality and quirks. She is responsible, confident, and involved with the animals in her care. It's a real treat to get photos of my dog during her stay too. Your pets will be in good hands. I highly recommend her.

Erika was great. My cat was well taken care of. I got updates. I finally feel like I have someone who can care for my pet when I am away,

I've never left my dog with a Rover sitter before, but Riki eased all my fears. Riki was an excellent pet sitter. I received daily updates, pictures and videos. I highly recommend Riki's services.

I always trust that Abel will be in good care when he’s with Erika. She shares detailed notes and many videos and photos of their day together.

A typical day

My pets and I enjoy walks around our neighborhood where we end up at a local park to toss the frisbee. We also like to visit local buttes for more challenging hikes. Mt Tabor and Powell Butte are our favorite spots! We also take a lot of potty breaks throughout the day because I am at home through the daytime as well as the evening. We have a lovely fenced in back yard area where pets can play and take additional outdoor time. My cat is a lover and enjoys being cuddled, scratches, and held like a baby. My dog is overly anxious about everything, but once she becomes comfortable she is friendly and playful. She enjoys playing chase with other dogs, or playing frisbee solo. She also loves butt, belly, and behind the ear scratches!
