The worst rover experience ever!!! Would highly suggest not booking with Erika. During the meet & greet we were told she only had a party to go to on Saturday and other than that or running out to grab food she would be at the house with our dog… what a lie. First off, Erika was over two hours late and then on Friday night left Cookie in her crate from 7pm-12:30am and put her right back in at 12:45 until 5am!!! We paid her to house sit, aka stay overnight. When we asked why she didn’t spend the night she gave some excuse that she also had these plans and assumed since we said it was okay to leave cookie for 4 hours on Saturday it was okay to leave her Friday too and tried blaming us for the miscommunication. We also came back to dirty dishes in the sink and pee stains on the carpet. We ended up having her leave early Saturday and had to call a friend and ask for a favor for them to take over the dog sitting so that we could actually try and enjoy our vacation and not be worrying about how long our dog was left alone in her crate. An absolutely awful experience and extremely unprofessional. Should not be a rover sitter. Would give zero stars if could.
