Erika is an amazing pet sitter. She is a responsible, trustworthy, respectful person who treats your dogs as if they were her own. They are loved and well taken care of during our vacations. Erika not only takes good care of the dogs she also communicates daily with the owner along with sending a photo or video. She respects your home and leaves it the way you left it. Your animals are comfortable and happy with her. We cannot compliment Erika enough.

Erika has been providing high quality pet sitting and training services for our family for more than four years. We have an energetic four-year-old medium-sized dog, “Penny,” a 15 year-old cat, “Marco,” and a little beta fish, “Emma.” Penny’s response to Erika says it all—she laps the backyard multiple times, barking and leaping with joy. And Erika always reciprocates Penny’s greeting with lots of snuggles and smiles. Erika was referred to us through Helen Woodward Animal Rescue, where she works as a trainer. She is a perfect fit, providing dog walking and obedience training several times a week, often with short notice. We immediately saw an improvement in Penny’s adherence to basic commands, and we love coming home to a content, well-mannered pup with plenty of fresh water and food. Her daily texts with a photo or video of Penny on her walk are so thoughtful, and always brighten my day. Erika also provides pet-sitting services several times a year when we are on vacation. She often stays at our home for a week or longer, and has also cared for our dog in her home. While staying at our home, she gives Penny daily walks, feeds the cat and fish and makes sure they all get plenty of play-time and love. She ensures the cat’s litter box is clean and that he receives his medication twice a day. She consistently takes out the trash, collects the newspaper and waters the plans. Always proactive, she often reaches out to me if the pet food appears low or the plants look thirsty. She is willing to go the extra mile-- picking up pet food when we run out or transporting pets when needed. She interfaces seamlessly with any third parties at the home, ie, a housecleaner or neighbor. In a pinch, she can quickly problem solve---- like the time I accidentally locked her out of the house and she had to find a creative solution. Her visits always include special treats for Penny—a weekend hike and a “date night” on the town for dinner out. Erika has excellent, clear communication and responds promptly when I reach out to her. We always come home to happy pets and an orderly home. Erika is a gem and there is no one else we would trust with our pets and our home. It’s clear that for Erika pet sitting isn’t just a job-- she genuinely cares and has a connection to our pets-- and that is what maters most. I highly recommend Erika for all your pet care needs.
