Erika and her 11-yr-old son brought their little pooch Zoe downstairs to meet and greet me and Ambrosia about a week before the scheduled boarding. The two dogs got along right away, and I was pleased to see how gentle and firm both Erika and her son were with both dogs. While I was away, Erika sent me several photos and updates of the dogs together with the family, and I was reassured that Ambrosia was in excellent hands. There were plenty of walks and snuggles for Ambrosia to enjoy. When I picked her up after four nights, she was almost reluctant to leave. I would highly recommend Erika L for your boarding needs.

Erika is a firm and compassionate caregiver to all types of dogs but especially small ones. I've seen her calm overactive and nervous dogs so that they enjoy each other's company. Erika believes in exercise (ex-fitness instructor and marathoner) and the power of exercise in the overall well being of puppies and dogs. She is also very aware and fussy about what types of foods and snacks to nourish dogs. She is patient, caring and talks to them as if they were her children. It is a joy to watch her with your pet!
