Pet care experience
I am a dog mommy and have caretaking experience with multiple breeds of dogs for 14+ years. I have never met a dog that I haven't loved! I regularly volunteer at an animal sanctuary where I provide care to a variety of animals, including two dogs and 4 cats. Additionally, I have experience working as a dog kennel technician which involved meeting the needs of numerous dogs by conducting regular playtimes and feed times and providing any needed medical attention. I look forward to meeting your fuzzy family members and promise to treat them as my own.

What a blessing Erika is!! We just returned from the best vacation ever, due to our dogs being kept and loved by Erika and her husband! This was our 3rd visit and we left for vacation feeling completely confident that we had no worries whatsoever! What a joy it was to go away and be able to completely relax and know that Benji and Heidi were cared for by the best! We are SO grateful!!

Being new to Jacksonville from NJ and only being here 2 weeks before having to go away for work I was completely stressed about leaving my Weim Cooper anywhere. However after finding Erika on Rover and doing a meet and greet all of my worries went away. Cooper instantly connected with her, which he is usually very shy, and he seemed so comfortable in no time. Erika was awesome with communication and with sending updates with pictures! I could tell that he was happy and made himself at home which really eased me being away from him! She is definitely a sitter I will be using again when available!
Erika, her husband and Jack their dog made Murphy feel like he was part of the family. Murphy is scared of loud noises and their care of him over the 4th of July was more than I expected, Erika cuddled Murphy until he felt safe enough to fall sleep. I received updates with pictures during his stay and by the looks of him and his behavior when I picked him up I am sure he had a great time. Murphy and I highly recommend Erika and most surely use her services in the future.

Before sitting your dog, I would love the opportunity to meet with them so that they are familiar with me as well as my dog, Jack. I welcome all breeds of dogs! However, it would be very ideal to have information prior to the stay that would help ensure that your dog's needs are met. Some information I ask of you is the breed, age, energy level, and any medical needs. Updated vaccinations and flea medication is a must.
A typical day
My home has a fenced yard with plenty of space to run around and chase squirrels. I have a doggie pool for cooling off and lounging! Additionally, my home includes a variety of dog toys and open space where we can play whichever activity your pet prefers. Your dog is welcomed to have their own toys and other items to make their stay even more enjoyable. My neighborhood includes parks and large areas for your dog to run around freely, if allowed by the owner. There are also paved paths around my neighborhood for walking. I live close to Hannah Park where dogs are allowed to enjoy the beach throughout the day (an activity my dog especially loves!) or walk through the trails. If your dog is a member of a dog park, we will also take regular visits there.
