Pet care experience
I have just graduated as a Veterinary Nurse student and have worked at two small animal practices, plus as an intern at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center and an exotics clinic! I have extensive experience in caring for animals, ranging from dogs, cats, reptiles, to wildlife and many others! I've also grown up in a household that almost always had pets- specifically dogs so they are no stranger to me. I can also administer medications, am very detailed oriented to your pets schedule, and can also provide walks or baths if needed (extra fees may apply).

Erika was wonderful. She is very professional while also being friendly, flexible, and thorough. Her expertise, knowledge, and experience in pet care is hard to find in a sitter, so we were thrilled when we heard she's studying to become a vet tech plus all the pets she has worked with in the past. She was patient with my dogs and put their needs first. While we were away, she sent lots of updates and photos. We were completely at ease with them in her care. We will be hiring her again... and again.. and again. Incredible sitter and person!

Please let me know of any known allergies, treats/toys that are not allowed, and any caution behaviors that your dog/cat may exhibit with other people, animals, or objects. Depending on their health and behavior, I may turn down the booking if I believe I cannot provide the highest care they deserve or if I am uncomfortable. I highly recommend bringing your pet's favorite toys and treats, as well as any comfort items that may make their stay smoother. I also recommend that your pet is up to date on vaccines and is on preventatives.
A typical day
Your pet will be receiving lots of love in the household as long as they're comfortable. If they need their own space and quiet environment, or would like to rest on the couch they may do so. When they are let outside they will have lots of room to explore and play. There is a very low chance they may come in contact with other animals outside, so the entire neighborhood and roads are their place to sniff and walk (under supervision!)

Availability
I currently have a puppy, so that is already a daily commitment. On the daily I do training and exercise with her and constantly monitor her health. I am also a full time intern at a clinic, but I am often flexible with your requests and will try to best accommodate so your booking is as stress free as possible.
