Pet care experience
I have extensive experience in caring for animals. My experience includes dogs, cats, reptiles, to wildlife and many others! I've also grown up in a household that almost always had pets- specifically dogs so they are no stranger to me. I can also administer medications, I'm very detailed oriented to your pets schedule, and can also provide walks or baths if needed (extra fees may apply). I am also comfortable looking after younger and geriatric pets. Prior to passing the VTNE and becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician, CVT in 2024 I've been in the medical field for 4 years and worked at 3 small animal clinics, including a mixed practice treating exotic pets I'm currently employed at. I've also worked at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of MN and previously earned an Associates in Applied Sciences and Bachelor's in Animal Science.

Excellent care and communication.
We had a wonderful experience with Erika as our dog and home sitter over the weekend! She was an excellent communicator, keeping us updated regularly with lots of pictures and videos of our pups, which we really appreciated. Erika was extremely reliable, showing up exactly when she said she would, and it gave us great peace of mind knowing our dogs and home were in such good hands. She left the house just as she found it, even going the extra mile by putting her used linens in the washing machine. We’ll definitely be booking Erika again and would strongly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter!

Please let me know of any known allergies, treats/toys that are not allowed, and any caution behaviors that your dog/cat may exhibit with other people, animals, or objects. Depending on their health and behavior, I may turn down the booking if I believe I cannot provide the highest care they deserve or if I am uncomfortable. I highly recommend bringing your pet's favorite toys and treats, as well as any comfort items that may make their stay smoother. I also recommend that your pet is up to date on vaccines and is on preventatives.
A typical day
Your pet will be receiving lots of love in the household as long as they're comfortable. If they need their own space and quiet environment, or would like to rest on the couch they may do so. If they are boarding at my home they will have lots of room to explore and play in a fenced-in yard. There is a very low chance they may come in contact with other animals outside, so the entire neighborhood and roads are their place to sniff and walk (under supervision!)

Availability
I currently have a young Golden Retriever so that is already a daily commitment. On the daily I do training and exercise with her and constantly monitor her health. I am also a full time CVT at a mixed practice clinic, but I am often flexible with your requests and will try to best accommodate so your booking is as stress free as possible.
